“Help me get through this Lord!”

So many times I have prayed this prayer…

What state of mind are we in when we confess this?! Is it when we have a feeling of abandonment, stress, financial burdens, lack of health, desperation, anxiety, hopelessness, suicide? As we go through life, all of these “things” and more could be your situation.  I know for me, I have felt all the above and yet God has NEVER failed me!

Yes, I have always stated the same statement, “Help me to get through this Lord” and Yes, He has always given me the same answer…”My grace is sufficient for you! I am right here…I have promised, I will never leave you nor forsake you!” I love it when Pastor Bryan Sparks said, “Jesus goes out of His way to have an encounter with you!”

All He wants you to do is to reach out to Him and then trust Him to help you!! You will get through it! You will find joy again!

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11-13‬ NLT)

For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. As for me, in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. By Your favor, O Lord, You have established me as a strong mountain! Psalms 39:5-7 AMP
