One of the biggest mistake we can make is allowing our failures and negative experiences to define who we are.

If you’re like me, as soon as that mistake is made, something inside of me recognizes the mistake and how I could have done better and when the next time comes around (because it will) we can respond in a more positive response than the last.

Does that mean we are perfect? By NO means! But it is a continual progress and process!

The downfall is when we allow these negative experiences to define who we are. When we do this, it is because we are looking at ourself instead of CHRIST!

When Christ sees us, He sees us perfect because all He sees is His blood that we are covered with as born again Christians!

So when we say, we weren’t cut out to be a leader, we weren’t cut out for ____ (you fill in the blank) what you are doing is giving into the enemy and calling God a liar!

HE had called US to great and mighty things and let me tell you that He knew you wouldn’t be a perfect process!!

He knows the end from the beginning, He knows your strengths and weaknesses! That’s why He has given us scriptures like, Romans 8:37, II Corinthians 12:9, I John 4:4 and the list continues!!

Jesus believes in us so much, that He died for US! For all of our failures, all of our mistakes, all of our weaknesses, all of our negative experiences. For US! That means the whole package, everything that can and will happen in our life! He is a big enough God to handle it ALL!!

So instead of letting our mistakes define us, let HIS WORD define us for we are more than conquerors!!!
